James Lessell

James joined Naked as Head of Factual Entertainment in October 2022. Formerly Head of Entertainment at Bandicoot James oversaw all new formats with a remit to develop and produce projects in both the UK and US market.

He has produced some of UK Biggest entertainment shows including The X Factor (ITV), Dancing on Ice (ITV) The Only Way Is Essex (ITV2) and Big Brother (C5). With a reputation for devising new shows, he has been responsible for creating and reformatting iconic shows including Celebs Go Dating (ITV 2), Eating with My Ex (BBCThree), Supercar Superfam (BBC1), Jay Blades Home Fix (BBC1) and most recently Peckham’s Finest (ITV2).

James started his career as an editor where over a decade worked across hundreds of hours of shows including BGT (ITV), Strictly Come Dancing (BBC1), Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway (ITV), Any Dream Will Do (ITV), Take Me Out (ITV1), Dating in the Dark (Sky1), Got to Dance (Sky1) and Sports Relief to name just a few.

He lives in Hertfordshire with his wife Danielle and their three children Oliver, Chloe and Lola (the Cavapoochon).
