John Comerford

John Comerford is Naked’s Interim Managing Director overseeing the label’s creative direction and production of both its many new series and matchless heritage brands at its London HQ and regional base, Naked West.

He executive produces an array of Naked’s popular factual and lifestyle brands including the BAFTA winning Grand Designs (Channel 4), Michael Portillo’s Great Railway Journeys (BBC Two), Escape to the Country (BBC One), Charlie Cooper’s Myth Country (BBC Three), Francis Bourgeois & Chris Harris: We Saved a Train (Warner Bros. Discovery) and Grand Designs: Deconstructed, the podcast.

Over the years, John has also EP’d a range of other Fremantle factual brands including Channel 4’s House of the Year, Four Rooms and How Clean is your House, ITV’s Wish You Were Here and Channel 5’s House Doctor.

Prior to joining Fremantle, John was an executive producer at BBC Studios where he produced a variety of programmes spanning factual, documentary and children’s - from household favourite Blue Peter through to the iconic Airport.

With experience of running large teams and a keen understanding of producing compelling premium content at volume, John focuses on developing and nurturing returnable series for both broadcast and digital platforms.
